Don Gould is a 30-year veteran of the construction industry and a member of Local 230 of the Laborers Union in Hartford, CT. An excellent stonemason, he is a graduate of Ellis Tech Trade School, Killingly, CT. He and his wife Louise, have two daughters, one of whom is Donna Rae, who has also been involved in the recognition research efforts, and three grandchildren. Don has been a consistent voice in working on behalf of Nipmuc Nation members and the quest for federal recognition for more than 15 years.
