Ms. Wilson-Tatum is the granddaughter of Chief Thunderbird (George M. Wilson Jr.) Her father was George M. Wilson III.
Valerie has been very active in Indian business since early in her life.
She received her Master's degree in Science/Human Services. For the past 45 years she has worked in the community with people who have suffered and are suffering with addictions. She is currently retired.  Ms. Wilson-Tatum has served on various boards and committees.
