Procedure for Voting on 9/19/2010 To receive a ballot, a tribal member must:
a) appear at the voting station with two (2) forms of identification. One form of identification must be a valid picture identification card, confirming his/her identity.
b) the member’s name must appear on the official list of members who meet the voting requirements; and
c) he/she must not have been forwarded an absentee ballot to vote.
“Qualified voter” will mark his/her ballot and place ballot in the ballot box.
Any member to whom an absentee ballot was sent will not be allowed to vote in person unless he/she signs a Voter Absentee Ballot Affidavit form.
If a member signs this affidavit and the absentee ballot is returned, the absentee ballot will be disregarded.
